Matthew Sterling

Matthew is a writer, director and producer born and raised in London but currently residing in the South West of England. Over the past few years, his work has been featured on Grazia, Buzzfeed, Vimeo and FilmShortage.

His 2018 short film Obolus was picked up for development by production company Grey Matter after Eric Heisserer (Arrival, Bird Box) watched the short online and expressed an interest in seeing a feature-length adaptation of the idea.

As a creative researcher, Matthew also works with directors and creatives around the globe. His recent clients include Bradford Young, RSA Films, Riff Raff and Pulse Films.

Matthew is currently working towards his first feature documentary, which begins production in the spring of 2021.
