Ollie Velasco

I’m a camera operator, assistant and technician working primarily on documentary and natural history productions. I’m also a commercially qualified media diver and an experienced rebreather diver.

I’ve worked on topside and underwater shoots on blue-chip documentary series for the BBC, National Geographic, Disney Nature and other broadcasters.

Previously a camera technician, I love overcoming technical and creative challenges to get unique shots that enhance the story, from car-mounted GSS to cable dollies and underwater motion control sliders to remote heads.
