Romany is a Freelance Editor based in Bristol. She has 10 years experience cutting commercials, branded content, social, documentary and narrative films for clients such as Apple, Spotify, Google, The Guardian, Vogue, Conde Nast, Ralph Lauren, National Geographic and Arsenal Football Club.

She has previous in-house experience at award-winning agencies, Pavillion Works, UNR (Anomaly) and Byte/Dept. She has experience in both offline and online editing, with an understanding of the full end-to-end postproduction process. She has a specialist hybrid skill-set of both editing and motion design.

Recent short films include ‘Blue Violet’ (Dir Josie Charles) which was programmed at 20+ film festivals, including BFI flare, SXSW London and won Best Story at Sunrise Film Festival. She edited BFI-Funded film ‘Win’ (Dir. Steph Tari Odu) featuring, Shaniqua Okwok (It’s A Sin) and Martins Imhangbe (Bridgeton) which is being programmed at British Shorts 2026.

Romany has love for emotive and thoughtful storytelling – human stories are what matter to her and she continues to collaborate on films that explore current themes in culture and society.
